Spring Storm

On Saturday April 12, at about 9pm, Lake Orion was hit with a major straight line storm that lasted five minutes. Tim knew that there was a problem when he found two inches of pea-sized hailstones on the deck. The power, of course, was out and would stay out until Wednesday. When the light dawned on Sunday we discovered that we had lost all or most of nine trees. Damage in the area was extensive. We were fortunate in that nothing landed on our house.
